1. What is a referral program?

Referral programs (sometimes called affiliate marketing programs) were designed by on-line retailers as a means of driving customers to their store without spending advertising until a purchase is made.

2. Will this cost my supporters anything?
No. Your supporters go directly to the on-line stores own website to purchase products directly from the store. By going through your portal, your supporters transaction carries a “cookie” that allows the retailer to track and pay the referrals.

3. Will my supporter’s transactions be safe?
As outlined in #2, your supporters will be dealing directly with the specific on-line retailers on their normal websites. The transactions are only as safe as the retailer’s security. However, we only do referral business with the top on-line retailers in the world to insure the best possible outcome.

4. Why don’t I set up my own portal for my non-profit?
Honestly, with an investment of time and money, you could establish and manage an affiliate program website. But, is your time better spent on your mission, or on building and managing an affiliate portal for fund raising?

5. What is the fee for the iShoptoDonate.com services?
There is $0 up front costs. We charge a basic flat rate of 20% of referral fees for our all inclusive services.

6. Will the site be branded for my organization?
Each site is set up specifically for each of our clients. We use your logo, name, and mission statement to give your portal the feel of your website.

7. How do I sign up?
It is as simple as agreeing to our basic service agreement, providing us with your logo and other design elements and establishing a link on your website to the portal. We also recommend you publish the new portal on your website, email blasts, newsletters and direct mail. We can provide you some written information to assist in this effort.
